At some age and on a particular part of our life we return to our roots, to foundations asking fundamental questions about our existence, values, and meaning of life. On this part of my inner journey, I need to read and reread classical literature, as well as go deeply with exploring difficult philosophical and religious manuscripts, and modern spiritual literature.

"The Old Man And The Sea" is perceived now by me on a more profound level of understanding. Reading this book at school the average child can perceive it like a story about an old fisherman trying to catch a fish in the open water. Reading this book at forty years old and going through my struggles and pain I realize that this is a timeless masterpiece depicting human perseverance, resilience, and loneliness. While on the surface the story of the protagonist Santiago is very simple, sometimes even primitive, in-depth it is full of philosophical revelations and the true meaning of life. In this way I understand why Ernest Hemingway is a genius, his works hide a lot in different layers and when your level of consciousness is ready you will definitely find new information, new insights, new answers....
The story of Santiago shows us that in the most difficult parts of our way, we are alone and we must go through challenges and troubles alone facing all our fears and external hardships. And in these moments of loneliness, we see and listen to our silence, our inner wisdom. We are not immortal, aging is a natural process of life, as well as death, the question is whether we can accept it with dignity or inner resistance.
The last phrase of the book is: "The old man was dreaming about the lions." Sounds strange!?!? But this is the language of Hemingway, you need to be able to read between the lines, and translate the high vibration of simple words (the language of metaphors) into the limited 3D language of the matrix.
At the end of our life, a person remembers his/her youth when he/she was strong, full of energy and ideas, unstoppable desire to create and live, but unfortunately at this very time, a person also realizes that this is his/her last days and old age and death is taking his shoulders....
